Baseline to Roadmap

A pragmatic strategy to bring AI into your business.

The problem to solve

Harvard Business Review's 2026 research on AI transformation found the primary obstacle to bringing AI into a business is rarely the model or the data, it's the "last mile" where the technology has to meet how the organization is actually structured.1 Gartner found the same pattern from the other direction: AI that doesn't fit how the business actually operates simply can't deliver ROI.2 This is the one to two weeks where that fit gets built in from the start.

The format

We map the workflows the business actually runs on, end to end. For a car dealer, that's stock through to sale. For a construction firm, tender through to completion. Every step gets the same treatment: the goal, who owns it, what could go wrong, what it's supposed to produce, and what tools or systems it depends on.

We identify the core operating workflows, then map each one in detail. From there we workshop the map with your team to find where to streamline and where to innovate, pulling the AI opportunities straight off it. We close by sequencing those opportunities into a roadmap that builds rather than collides.

The outcome

You're left with a blueprint of how the business operates and how that connects to customer outcomes. From there we build outward: where AI helps, efficiency, innovation, or both, and just as importantly, where it doesn't. The result is a sequenced roadmap, so each move builds on the last instead of colliding with it.
